David R. Giroux
As a former prosecutor for twelve years and Special Counsel to the Richmond Multi-Jurisdictional Grand Jury, David has extensive experience with some of the most complicated criminal cases, including narcotics trafficking, robbery and homicides. He knows exactly what the Commonwealth must prove and how to find and exploit the weaknesses in the prosecutor’s case. If you have been charged with a serious traffic or criminal offense, the consequences can last well beyond the court date as criminal convictions remain on your record for life. There is absolutely no substitute for preparation and communication which is why David makes evening and weekend appointments so that you will fully understand your case and he can achieve the best possible outcome.
In addition to criminal cases, Dave provides presentation in child custody and family law matters such as support and uncontested divorces. He is a certified Guardian ad Litem (GAL) and he will work with you to find workable solutions to these very emotional and difficult cases.
